MEMBERSHIP
Membership begins on 1st November annually. Three types of memberships are available, please see below for descriptions and
cost. All members are required to help on the day of our annual fundraising event and to be responsible for one organisational task prior to the event.
Membership Types
Full Membership

Priority to attend every rally day

At rallies, pay $20 per lesson
Full members make up the significant majority of our club. We cap the number of Full Memberships each year in order to maintain fun, safe and high-quality rally days for those who participate.
Full Membership basic cost summary for 2023/24:
MHRC Full Membership Fee $155
(1 May - 31 Oct $77)
HRCAV Levy + Insurance Fee $170
TOTAL $325
NB: Joining fee for new members add $20.
If you are already a member of another HRCAV club, you do not have to pay the HRCAV levy or insurance fee again, just the MHRC Full Membership fee.
Non-Rally Membership

Able to attend rallies if desired

At rallies, pay $30 per lesson
We offer this type of membership to those who wish to be part of our club but who may not want to attend rally days. This is also a
secondary option for people wishing to join during the year when
our Full Membership limit has been reached.
Non-rally members are still welcome to attend as many rallies as they wish but priority is given to full members if we are not able to accommodate all rally RSVPs (having said that, we are yet to knock anyone back).

Non-Riding Membership

HRCAV non-riding insurance
This type of membership is for those who would like to be part of our club but do not engage in riding activities. Please note, a non-riding member may not ride other people’s horses.
